Yuri Pinter isn't afraid to bring taboo topics into the spotlight.
Living as a gay man in Russia, Yuri knew what it was like to be part of a persecuted minority. Today, as a gay man living freely in America, he hasn't forgotten how it felt to be on the outskirts of society.
In his keynote addresses, Yuri shares his personal journey, and as part of his mission to give voice to marginalized communities, shows audiences the shortcomings, secrets, and even the silver linings of uncomfortable realities.
When Yuri visits non-profit and corporate events, he helps audiences see beyond stereotypes and understand the human beings behind the labels. He connects with people in a way that leaves them ready to embark on missions of kindness and understanding.
A Sleepover with Yuri celebrates diversity, promotes equality, and spreads love. It's for anyone who has ever been categorized as a minority whether for being an immigrant, an LBTQIA+ individual, a person of color, or for any other reason. On A Sleepover with Yuri, "minority" guests are in the majority!
Born in Nighny Tagil, Russia into a working class family, Yuri Pinter moved to NYC at the age of 27, eventually being granted political asylum based on LGBTQIA+ suppression in Russia. Today, he is the host of “A Sleepover with Yuri”, a talk show that empowers minorities, celebrates diversity, promotes equality, raises awareness and spreads love. Yuri has also made a name for himself in the fitness industry and is consistently ranked as the #1 fitness manager in the Crunch chain of gyms.
